I began my professional career as a therapist. I specialized in sickness and disease treatments. I naively thought I could “make sick people well” – as if the power to heal was in me or in my treatment methods, rather than in God and my patients.

The Wright Ministry is a holistic wellness and spiritual-health organization that combines faith-based teaching with natural, whole-body wellness approaches. Founded by Dr. Richard “Doc” Wright and his wife Dagmar, the ministry promotes what they call “The SHIFT” — a program aimed at helping people overcome stress, find balance, and restore wellness physically, mentally, and spiritually.
